Doral has scored a coup in securing Rachel Page Elliottıs permission to
publish her new and updated book DOGSTEPS. It will be titled DOGSTEPS
-- A New Look. In August we roll out another highly readable juvenile
book--FUN STUFF WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND -- The Interactive Dog Book. Great
ideas on how to spend time with your best pal and both enjoy the variety
of activities described in this exciting new book.
Our publisher has just been elected to the Board of Directors of the
Arizona Book Publishers Association. As you know he was formerly
President for three terms of the Northwest Association of Book
Publishers. His new Cocker book (paperback) is selling like hotcakes.
We are looking forward to fall when entries for the Dog Writers
Association Best Book Awards are due. We have a good lineup going in. The
Petit Basset Vendeen, Hands-On Dog Care and Fun Stuff With Your Best
Friend will all contend for honors. They have had simply wonderful
reviews. Our Cocker book and our redo of the Advanced Labrador book
(Reaching For The Stars) wonıt be eligible since they are revisions of
previous successful books.
We will be entering these titles in the Publishers Marketing Association
Ben Franklin Awards as well.
